New e320 trains: Eurostar has been gradually introducing new trains (e320) to their fleet since December 2015. The e320 trains offer:

  • New designer interiors
  • New onboard entertainment
  • Free WIFI connectivity

Speed: Eurostar trains can reach a maximum speed of 300km per hour on the high speed lines in the UK, France and Belgium.

Rail passholder fares:

  • From 1st April 2018 onwards travellers must have a Eurail Global Flexi or Consecutive Pass, Eurail Select THREE or FOUR Country Pass that includes France (for the UK-France route) and Benelux (for the UK-Benelux route).
  • Passengers holding Eurail One Country Pass or Eurail Two Country Select Pass including France/Benelux issued on/after 1st April 2018 are NOT eligible for a passholder fare on the Eurostar. Eurail One Country Pass & Eurail Two Country Select Pass including France/Benelux issued before 1st April 2018 are still eligible for a passholder fare on the Eurostar, regardless of the travel date. NOTE: This rule does not apply to Eurail France & Italy Pass
  • Passengers holding Eurail Two Country Select Pass for France & Italy issued on/after 1st July 2017 are NOT eligible for a passholder fare on the Eurostar. Holders of Eurail Two Country Select Pass for France & Italy issued before 1st July 2017 are still eligible for a passholder fare on the Eurostar, regardless of the travel date.
  • Passholder fares are only available London/Ashford/Ebbsfleet<>Paris/Brussels/Calais/Lille/Marne-la-Vallee. This will require a use of a rail day and a 45 minutes advance check-in required.
